A Real Husky Farm Experience
At Bergli Husky, we open our gates to those looking for something real – the bond between people, dogs, and nature. Our small, family-run husky farm is located in Ljørdalen, Norway, just 15 km from the Swedish border, surrounded by forests, hills, and open trails.
In winter, we offer dog sledding adventures through snow-covered landscapes. The rest of the year, you’re welcome to join us for husky hikes or visit the kennel, meet the dogs, and learn about life with huskies.
We keep things simple, honest, and close to nature – a place where families, friends, and travelers of all kinds can slow down, connect, and enjoy time with our huskies.

We live in a small valley in close to the swedish border in Trysil, surrounded by quiet forests and fresh mountain air – the perfect home for us and our huskies. Bergli Husky located in the heart of Ljørdalen – Trysil is more than a kennel; it’s a way of life built on care, teamwork, and a deep love for our dogs and this land.
As a family, we work closely together every day, caring for our huskies and creating meaningful experiences for those who visit. It brings us so much joy to welcome people from near and far to our valley – to share the beauty, the peace, and the energy of the dogs we love so much.

First we got a little explanation about the huskies. Then we got a tour and got to know the animals.
Finally we went for a hike with the huskies, through the hills. We were impressed by their stamina and endurance. The dogs are so sweet, it was great fun.
I’m very excited that they made all of this happen in my wheelchair. Lots of love for these people 💕
We are a family of 4 with two kids (age 10 & 12).
We drove out to the hosts through amazing snowy scenery which really set the tone for the experience.
The hosts met us and welcomed us in to meet all of the dogs. Nothing was rushed, everything really friendly and relaxed.
Kids loved the husky ride and playing with the dogs. Afterwards the hosts prepared hot dogs and hot chocolate for us on the open fire.
It really did make for an enjoyable once in a lifetime experience for us all. 👍
Christian and Rachelle were perfect hosts and clearly love their huskys, we really enjoyed hearing all about their experience and lives looking after the dogs.
The dogs themselves were beautiful and were just a pleasure to be around – it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Trysil and we would love to go back at some stage.

They both are very friendly and when we go back to Norway we will definitly book a tour with them!
They took all the time for us and nothing was rushed. The hosts are super friendly, experienced and gentle.
My kids were able to harness the dogs, play with them and learn all their names. Roasting hotdogs over a campfire, hot chocolate with marshmallows and coffee. It was simply the most amazing experience and we will definitely be back.
